Learning to knit....

is like....a lot of fun!

I am, I am (leanring to knit) ! I have almost finished my first wash cloth and I have the most wonderful teachers. What a blessing!

I feel like soulemama and all the other knitting and crocheting mothers I adore!

A beautiful little boy turns 3!

About a month ago little Griffin turned 3! Three years old seems so much to me. At one and two I imagined it was OK that I didn't have it all figured out, that I still had time.

But at three I felt as though I now didn't have time, that I should know the mothering world and more particular how to mother him more completely. But a month later and I am feeling that it is all OK that I am the mother that I am today. Being open and wanting all the growth God has in store for me. And knowing that I am enough and exactly where I am suppose to be.

We had a lovely birthday "dinner" for our little man ( or boboshalay as my hubby calls him ). Grandparents and Greats where there and it was so much fun to host a dinner for all these things, for another year older in a special boys life and for family members that we hold so dear.

And in other news...I have sewed some more!!! Behold!

And last...we planted our first rose bush as our gift for valentines day! It is a Lowell Thomas Rose bush. I am super excited!
