Sew it to me!

I took my first sewing class on Saturday at this fabulous place!  I loved LOVED it!  I made a clutch purse for Griffin, well Matt calls it his murse ( his man purse), but I kind of thought it looked like an envelope and lately Griffin loves putting things into other things and opening and shutting things, so this thing-a-ma-jig is perfect! And now I know what sewing machine I want to purchase!  The people were so nice and friendly, and the class was not intimidating at ALL!  I really hope it was the start to something.

I apologize for the oodles of pictures...but I just love them and am no good at decisions!

I am so proud of you and your spunk! I love the murse, the fabric is adorable and Griffin really likes it I can tell. You did a great job. What is it made of besides just the fabric.

Sew clever Jenny or just dorky ;) I am a HUGE dork! Kendell, I would love for you to come with me. I want to take the sewing boot camp 1 class. It is 4 weeks long. And Beth, besides the fabric we used a heavy duty fusible interfacing called Pellon.

Thanks for loving on me and Griffin!

Great, Melanie! This is just the beginning of lots of cool stuff. However, you are not even a little bit 'dork' by any stretch of the imagination! You are totally awesome! Love, AJ
