It is based completely on a true story about an Autistic girl named Temple Grandin.
When Griffin was born I didn't think my love for him meant I would have a special kind of love for other kiddos like him, but all of it was so transformational and I didn't even know it at first. Now when I see other Down syndrome kids my heart leaps! Other kids with special needs of all sorts, I just want to know more about them. All of these kids to me are so extraordinaire and I love experiencing part of their triumph, even if it is just through a movie. When I was watching Temple Grandin I just kept thinking, what a blessing she is to her family and friends.
Here is the trailer to get you interested....
and if you want you can search you tube for interviews of the real Temple Grandin. She travels around the country giving speeches and talks about Autism.
Enjoy!
